A view of the encampment on Coxheath with the grand review of the army, 1778. American War of Independence (1775-83).

Engraved for the Westminster Magazine. See the Anne S.K. Brown Collection. The view is to the north, with the road to Loose running between the Suffolk and Cheshire Militia. The whole camp is not shown, the artillery park, which was to the left of the camp, is not apparent in this view.

Condition: no fold lines.
