Four small diagrams oriented with north-west to top showing the changing positions of the opposing fleets during the Battle of the Nile which took place in the Bay of Aboukir, 1-2 August 1798. French Revolutionary Wars (1792-1802)

The French expeditionary force under the command of Napoleon was defeated by the British commanded by Rear-Admiral Sir Horatio Nelson. The explanation to each plan or diagram is given in the accompanying text.
