The map shows the positions of the regiments on Tooting, Streatham, Norwood, Dulwich and Sydenham Commons. The technique of relief representation is sophisticated and was well developed by David Dundas who had learned cartography while serving on the Military Survey of Scotland (1747-56).

Condition: one fold line; brown discolouration and stains. Verso: substantial brown discolouration.
