A map of the attack on 18 June 1694 on Camaret, near Brest, by the Dutch and English, commanded by Colonel Thomas Tollemache (c.1651-94) and Peregrine Osborne, Marquess of Carmarthen (1659-1729) resulting in a victory for the French, commanded by Sébastien Le Prestre, marquis de Vauban (1633-1707). Nine Years War (1688-97). Oriented with north to top.

The curved trajectories of the mortar bombs fired from the coastal batteries are drawn in red ink, while those of cannon are shown as black straight lines.
