Note that the orientation of the map is in the direction of travel. Overheide was commissioned as a Captain of the Hanoverian Engineers on 29 May 1748 [RCIN 733070]; he was still a Captain in 1762.

Condition: two fold lines; brown stains; bottom left [recto], water-stained patch and fragments from the removal of Cumberland's cipher label. Verso: foxing.
