The encamped squadrons and battalions of the following regiments are: Central Column: Gardes; Ledebur; Wangenheim; Zandré; Knesebeck; Dreves; Stoltzenberg; Post; Hardenberg; Oberg; Zastrow; Block; Gilten; Dachenhausen; Breidenbach; Hammerstein; Grothaus; Reden; Sckölln; Reg du Corps; Busch; Grenadiers à cheval; Garde du Corps. [The Right Column was camped at Sittensen and Heslingen (Heeslingen), and the Left column was camped near Granstedt at Lamste along the river L'Oste.]
The scale to the map, and the key to the conventional signs used to represent the troops is given on RCIN 732201.ai, headed 'Remarques'. The troop rectangles are coloured according to nationality: Hanoverian (red), Prussian (green), Brunswickian (yellow), Hessian (blue), French (lilac).
