A map of the northern banks of the St Lawrence River between the Falls of Montmorency and Quebec, 1759. French and Indian War (1754-63). Oriented with north-north-west to top (cardinal points).

This gives a very detailed representation of the extensive lines of trenches and redoubts on the north side of the St Lawrence River between Beauport and the St Charles River; the positions of the French encampments are shown.

Condition: six fold lines; several crease marks; surface dirt; several small tears around the edges; small piece diagonally cut off from bottom right corner. Verso: surface dirt; bottom right, water-stained patch, presumably from the removal of Cumberland's cipher label.
