A map of the encampment of George II's German troops at Rotenburg, 25 August 1757. Seven Years War (1756-63). Oriented with south-east to top.

The distance from the previous encampment at Ahausen to Rotenburg was about 9 km (5½ miles). The troop rectangles are coloured according to nationality: Hanoverian (red), Prussian (green), Brunswickian (yellow), Hessian (blue), French (lilac).
