The distance between the camps at Blomberg and Ost Schlangen is about 21 km (13 miles). The encamped squadrons and battalions of the following regiments were: First Line: Gardes; Oberg; Hardenberg; Zastrow; Zandré; Ledebur; Garde du Corps; Heimburg; Bock; Grenadiers à Cheval. Second Line: Sax Gotha; Mansbach; Pr: Anhalt; Haudring; Hanau; Comte Isenburg; Pr Guillaume; Regt du Corps; Dragons du Corps; Parc d'Artillerie Hess.; Hanov:.
The scale to the map, and the key to the conventional signs used to represent the troops is given on N.o XXXII, headed 'Remarques' (RCIN 732200.ag). The troop rectangles are coloured according to nationality: Hanoverian (red), Prussian (green), Brunswickian (yellow), Hessian (blue), French (lilac).
