A map of the area around Fort Ticonderoga, 1758. French and Indian War (1754-63). Oriented with north-east to top (cardinal points). 

The northern end of Lake George is shown with the landing place used by Major Rogers and General Lyman with part of the Provincials together with the four-column march route of the army to Fort Ticonderoga, the location of a skirmish with the French, and the portage route from the landing place to the Saw Mill, and the line of Indian paths.
