An order of battle of the Allied army under the command of the Duke of Brunswick and Lüneburg, 21 August 1758. Seven Years War (1756-63).

This gives the same regimental and commanding officer information as RCIN 732076 with the addition of summaries of the troop and artillery strengths and a note on the detachment of troops near Munster on 8 May 1758 under Lt Gen. Prince Isenburg, before returning to Hesse. This order of battle, written in a German hand, does not give the location of the camps.

The general officers of the First Line are General Spoërcken, and Duc de Marlborough; Lieutenant-Generals Prce Hereditaire, Wutginau, Comte Kielmansegge, Brunck; Major-Generals Comte Schoulenbourg, Bock, Zastrow, Fürstenberg, Grote, Poste, Zastrow, Hardenberg, Waldegrave, Zeppelin, and Marq. de Grandbÿ.

The general officers of the Second Line are Lieutenant-Generals Imhoff, Prce Anhalt, Oberg, Mÿld Sackville; Major-Generals Grothaus, Einsiedell, Urff, Colonel Maÿ, Gilsæ, Wangenheim, Druchtleben, Diepenbroick, Kingsleÿ, Dachenhausen, and Whÿtefordt.

The reserve corps is under the command of Lieutenant-General S.A.S. le Duc de Holstein and Major-Generals Finckenstein and Bandomer.

Condition: four fold lines. Verso: induced discolouration; heavy surface dirt on outer panels of folded item.
