The attribution to Pleydell is made on stylistic grounds. The regimental rectangles are coloured according to nationality: British (red); Hanoverian (yellow); Hessian (grey); Dutch (orange); Prussian (green).
The General Officers of the First Line are Lieutenant-Generals Prince of Holstein, Einsedel, Hereditary Prince, Wutginau, Gilse, Kilmanseck, Sackville; Major-Generals Hanstein (Col), Stein (Col), Behr, Tole, Bock, Schule (Col), Plice (Col), Dreves (Col), Waldgrave, Schulenberg, Moystyn.
The General Officers of the Second Line are General Sporken; Lieutenant-Generals Imhoff, Urff, Prince of Anhalt, Granby; Major-Generals Finkenstein, Bischausen (Col), Wisenback (Col), Stoltzenberg (Col), Behr (Col), Kingsley, Bock, Elliott.
The Corps de Reserve is commanded by Major-General Prince Charles of Bevern. The 5th (Reserve Brigade of Light Guns) Brigade of Artillery is placed behind the Right Wing of the First Line, and the 6th (Reserve Brigade of Light Guns) Brigade of Artillery is behind the Left Wing of the First Line.
