A plan of encampment at Blandford, 1756. Seven Years War (1756-63). Oriented with north-west to top. 

The facing page (RCIN 731068.b) lists the encamped regiments. The camp took place from 4 July to 12 October. The encamped regiments, under the command of Lt. General Sir John Mordaunt and Major General the Duke of Bedford are: 2nd Scotch Greys; 10th Mordaunt's Dragoons; 3rd Buffs; 8th Wolfe's; 12th Skelton's; 15th Amherst's; 20th Kingsley's; 33rd Ld. Ch. Hay's.
