A list of the encamped regiments at Blandford from 4 July to 12 October 1756. Accompanies the map of the encampment on the facing page (RCIN 731068.c).

The encamped regiments, under the command of Lt. General Sir John Mordaunt and Major General the Duke of Bedford are: 2nd Scotch Greys; 10th Mordaunt's Dragoons; 3rd Buffs; 8th Wolfe's; 12th Skelton's; 13th Amherst's; 20th Kingsley's; 33rd Ld. Ch. Hay's.
