A map of the encampment of the Polish and Saxon Armies, 14 June-27 October 1745, with a plan of the review on 13 October. War of the Austrian Succession (1740-48). Oriented with north to top.

A key to the symbols used for the plan of the review indicates that the regimental rectangles for the battalions and squadrons are coloured according to the different parts of the uniforms: jacket and facings, waistcoat (battalions) or collar (squadrons), and breeches.

This encampment and the review took place during the period when Maria Theresa of Austria and August III of Poland and Saxony, renewed their alliance on 29 August against Frederick the Great.
