A map of the encampment of the Allied and French armies in the vicinity of Rijckholt and Maastricht from 8-18 July 1747. War of the Austrian Succession (1740-48). Oriented with west to top (compass rose).

A detailed map of the villages and towns between Tongeren, Bilsen, Maastricht and Viset, showing the routes between them, the three bridges across the Meuse at Maastricht, and the bridged crossing points on the River Geer. The positions of the encampments and the fortified lines are marked. Regiments are not named.
