A map of the encampment of the Allied army, under the command of Prince Charles of Lorraine, 25-26 July 1746. War of the Austrian Succession (1740-48). Oriented with south to top.

This campsite was located between Hasselt and Zonhoven. Regimental rectangles are coloured, probably according to nationality, and are annotated with the names of the commanding officers.

Condition: no fold lines. Verso: induced discolouration; fragments of paper are pasted to each corner, as if the item was formerly laid down on a larger sheet.
