Only the positions of the encamped regiments are shown; the regimental rectangles are uncoloured and unannotated. The surrounding countryside is sketched in, with general indications of the divisions between cultivated land and heathland. The coverage of the map extends irregularly from Zonhoven in the north, where Cumberland had his Headquarters, to Diepenbeck (Diepenbeek 50°54'27"N 05°25'07"E) in the south, and from Stokeroy (Stokrooie 50°57'58"N 05°16'53"E) in the west to Ghenck (Genk 50°57'54"N 05°30'02"E) in the east.
Condition: two fold lines; corners rounded after being laid down on linen. Verso: foxing; top left, water-stained patch from the removal of Cumberland's cipher label.
