A map of the encampment of the Allied army along the Scheldt on 22 June 1744. War of the Austrian Succession (1740-48). Oriented with north-west to top. The tentative attribution to Schultz is made on stylistic grounds.

The encampments are on the east side of the River Escaut (Scheldt), near Oudenaarde (50°51'06"N 03°36'32"E), between Mulde (Melden, 50°48'52"N 03°33'55"E) in the south and Gavere (50°55'45"N 03°39'42") in the north. The fortified lines at the bridgehead at Gavere are shown.
