The march of the British and Hanoverian troops from Chateau Huise north-west to Deinze was about 10 km (6.2 miles). The camp, on the east side of the River Lys, extends for a distance of about 7 km (4.3 miles) from Bachten (Bachte 50°59'51"N 03°32'54"E) in the north, through Astene (50°59'06"N 03°33'59"E) south-west to Machelen (50°57'35"N 03°29'25"E).
Condition: no fold lines; ink in border, bottom right, has run, perhaps as a result of having been exposed in the past to damp.
