The right wing of the Allied army comprised British and Hanoverian troops, coloured here in red and yellow, respectively. The march from Deinze to Drongen was about 11 km (6.8 miles). The camp extended for a distance of about 4 km (2.5 miles) from Mariekircke (Mariakerke, now in the suburbs of Ghent, 51°04'29"N 03°40'58"E) in the north, to Drongen in the south.
