      A map of the encampments of the Allied army, under the command of Prince Charles of Lorraine, at Rosmeer, 17 September-7 October 1746, together with the position of the French army. War of the Austrian Succession (1740-48). Oriented with west to top.

      This campsite, east of Tongeren and in the vicinity of Lafeldt, extends from Rosmeer in the north to Fexe (Fexhe-Slins 50°43'12"N 05°34'11"E) in the south, a distance of about 14 km (8.6 miles). This is the first plan in this volume to show the position of part of the French army, together with French entrenchments.
