The names of all the commanding officers are given down to squadron/battalion level, together with the numbers of squadrons/battalions of each regiment. The tentative attribution to Schultz is made on stylistic grounds. The regimental rectangles are coloured according to nationality: British (red), Hanoverian (yellow), Hessian (blue).
The General Officers of the First Line are Generals Ligonier and Somerfeldt; Lieutenant-Generals Hawley, Albemarle, Prince Hesse; Major-Generals Hammerstein, Issenbourgh, Zastrow, Wolf; Brigadiers Bligh, Wreden, Douglass, Price, Block, Borck.
