These lines, presumably of the Allied army, were constructed in what appears to be, by the map, an open area of wet heathland with occasional patches of woodland, traversed by roads and edged with enclosed areas. The fortified lines are located just to the north of the then village of Ruckveen (i.e. Rucphen).
Condition: six fold lines; formerly folded to 16.1 x 10.8 cm; all corners cut off diagonally; 6.6 cm tear to bottom of centre vertical fold line.
