A topographical map of part of northern Italy, showing the places where the armies of France and the Holy Roman Empire camped in 1701. War of the Spanish Succession (1701-14). Oriented with north to top (cardinal points).

The map extends from the southern end of Lake Como in the north-west, with Como (in Lombardy, 45°48'35"N 09°05'14"E) to Veston (Vestone, Lombardy 45°42'32"N 10°23'59"E), and from Pavie (Pavia, Lombardy 45°11'04"N 09°09'41"E) in the south-west to Cremone (Cremona, Lombardy 45°08'10"N 10°01'40"E).
