A map of the siege of Barcelona, 3-27 April 1706, by the Franco-Spanish army, commanded by Philip V of Spain (1683-1746) and Marshal René de Froulay de Tessé (1648-1725), resulting in a victory for the English-led Allied garrison. War of the Spanish Succession (1701-14). Oriented with north-west to top.

The ‘Mont Iuy’ referred to in the title is Montjuïc (41°21'48"N 02°09'56"E).

Condition: one fold line. Verso: induced discolouration; remains of guard [made from an offcut of a map?]; some offsetting.
