This is a tabulation of the strengths of the regiments and names the commanding officers at each camp site which were as follows: at Musselburgh: Major General Hamilton with troops of the IVth or Queens Own Regiment of Dragoons, the 1st, 2nd and 1st Battalions of the IVth Fencible Regiments. At Dunbar: Major General Dundas with troops of the IVth or Queens Own Regiment of Dragoons, and the 1st and 2nd Battalions of the Scotch Brigade. At Aberdeen: Lieut-General Sir Hector Munro with troops of the Perthshire Fencible Cavalry, the 2nd Battalion of the IVth and 1st Battalion of the VIIIth Fencible Regiments.
