The map shows the layouts of the Allied encampments at Worms (49°38'08"N 08°21'35"E) from 30 August to 25 September; at Franckenthal (49°32'14"N 08°21'18"E) from 25-26 September and 12 to 13 October, and at Spire (Speyer 49°19'47"N 08°25'40"E) from 27 to 30 September and 30 September to 11 October.
This rough field sketch would have formed part of the compilation for Schultz's Plan of all the Marches and Incampments of the Army of the Allies commanded by His Majesty the King of Great Britain from the Battle of Dettingen to the End of the Campain, in the Year 1743 which is at RCIN 728103.
Condition: six fold lines; creased; worn and torn along folds; brown discolouration.
