An order of battle of the Allied army under the command of Prince Charles of Lorraine in 1746. War of the Austrian Succession (1740-48).

Under Field Marshals Prince of Waldeck and Count Bathÿani, the General Officers of the First Line are Generals Birckenfeldt, Sommerfeldt, Daún, Carl, Palfÿ; Lieutenant-Generals Couenders, Schwartzenberg, Smitsaert, Drüchtleben, Friedrich, Mercÿ, Hollÿ; Major-Generals Schack, Matha, Constant, Veldmann, Maÿdell, Zastrow, Wolff de Goudenberg, Howard, Bechtlem, Lillers, Elverfeld, Bubla, Hammerstein, Dallwieg, Rohtes, Winckelman, Radicatÿ; Brigadiers Höefft, Schagen, Rohde, Grotenraÿ, Block, Wreeden, Blighs.

The General Officers of the Second Line are General Geisrügg; Lieutenant-Generals Aÿlva, La Lippe, Mansbach, Grüne; Major-Generals Hompesch, Canneboúrg, Villattes, Glinstra, Klincaúströem, Wied, Uivarÿ, Sincere, Dúrlach, Montignie, Isenboúrg, Crafford, Walbrún, Boúrnoville; Brigadiers Schlippenbach, Vriebergen, Bourmannia, Borch, Spöerck, Dúglas, Adelepsen.

The Reserve Corps are commanded by General the prince of Wolfenbüttel; Lieutenant-Generals Trips, Kollowrath, Baroniaÿ; Major-Generals Morotz, Spada, Pourghaús, Haller, Arberg, Gemmingen, Bentheim, Prince Esterhasÿ.

Regiments are named and appear to be coloured according to nationality: British (red), Hanoverian (yellow), Austrian (green), Hessian (blue), Dutch (orange). However, some Hanoverian regiments are in red.

Condition: four fold lines; slight surface dirt along left edge of recto. Verso: induced discolouration.
